Backed by Exmoor National Park, Lynmouth is a spectacular coastal village near Devon's northern coast. Historic buildings lead through the valley to an open harbour and beach. Lynmouth’s centre is lined with independent shops, eateries and cosy pubs. The adjoining village of Lynton sits above it, linked by the famous cliff railway, while neighbouring Porlock offers further dramatic scenery. The historic market town of Barnstaple, the largest town in North Devon, and bustling seaside resort of Minehead are not too far away.
