Set on the edge of the North York Moors, Malton is a pretty Yorkshire market town set in some of the most beautiful countryside to the north of the River Derwent. The town is renowned for its food quality and produce with its famous food festival, monthly food market, Malton Cookery School, traditional food shops and ‘Made in Malton’ artisian producers – it is sometimes referred to as ‘Yorkshire’s Food Capital’.
