This picturesque village with its cottages of Cotswold stone and thatched roofs is most known for its atmospheric 15th-century ruins of Minster Lovell Hall - famed for allegedly being the place the ninth Lord Lovell’s remains were found in an underground room. This is a wonderful spot for a picnic, before enjoying long countryside rambles by the river and through the surrounding wildflower meadows.
