Mylor Bridge, or Ponsnowyth as it is known in Cornish, is a village in South Cornwall a few miles from the town of Falmouth. Mylor Bridge resides entirely within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty making it a great place to visit for people who love exploring the great outdoors. The Lemon Arms is the local pub in Mylor Bridge and makes a fine place to stop at the end of the day and recover from the exertions of exploring Bodmin Moor or the south Cornish coast.
Our Mylor Bridge holiday cottages make the perfect base for exploring this delightful part of Cornwall. The surrounding countryside is rich in wildlife which can be discovered on a short walk around the Carrick Roads waterways. Or head to nearby Enys Gardens which is a riot of colour in spring and summer. Mylor Bridge is also a great place for keen sailors – there are plenty of places offering boat hire and you can sail around the estuary, past Falmouth and out to the Atlantic Ocean. Other nearby places of interest include the National Trust’s Trelissick Garden, Pendennis Castle and St Mawes Castle. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family holiday, our Mylor Bridge self-catering cottages are where you can make happy memories together.
