Holiday cottages & self-catering accommodation in North Tawton, Devon

North Tawton is a small town in Mid Devon, not far from the A30 and situated on the banks of the famous River Taw. There has been a settlement in this part of Devon since Roman times, evidenced by the remains of a fort and road from the period.

The poet Ted Hughes lived in the town, and although he died in London his ashes were scattered over Dartmoor, where a memorial was placed deep inside the boundary of the National Park.
