Self-catering holiday cottages in Port Logan

Have a dream holiday in Port Logan at one of our self-catering cottages. Browse our collection to find your ultimate holiday hideaway in Scotland. Port Logan is a small village some way south of Stranraer on the Rhins of Galloway on the west coast of Scotland. Port Logan’s name used to be Port Nessock but was given its modern name by the local landowners at Logan House. Visitors to Port Logan can enjoy the Logan House and Botanic Gardens where a number of subtropical plants are able to flourish due to the mild climate (much like Tresco on the Isles of Scilly). There is also much to enjoy along the coastline as the sheltering effect of the peninsula makes for calm waters in which to swim or sail. There’s also the world’s oldest marine life centre at Logan Pond. ‘Rhins’ means points or headlands translated from Gaelic; rich in wildlife, the landscapes around Port Logan are breathtaking, attracting photographers, artists, wildlife lovers, ornithologists and hikers.

Choose a self-catering holiday cottage in Port Logan from our extensive collection of properties. We have holiday accommodation in and around Port Logan and the wider Galloway and Dumfries area. Browse our range today to find your perfect holiday getaway.
