The village of St Giles On The Heath, or St Giles-on-the-Heath as it is sometimes written, is a small settlement in the very west of Devon. The village is so far west that the River Tamar, which forms the border with neighbouring Cornwall, is barely a stone’s throw away.
The Pint and Post at the heart of the village offers its services to the weary traveller as both a pub and local shop. If you are in search of a greater range of retail options then the Cornish town of Launceston is not too far away, along with the North Devon town of Holsworthy.
