Holiday cottages in St Helens on the Isle of Wight provide the perfect setting for a peaceful, coastal holiday. With cottages to suit couples on a romantic break and larger properties for families looking for fun and adventure, there’s bound to be St Helens accommodation to suit your needs. A quiet village on the eastern edge of the Isle of Wight, St Helens is a tranquil coastal resort. St Helen’s Duver, run by the National Trust, provides plenty of open space to explore, with the beach offering excellent rock pooling opportunities. The area is also popular with wildlife enthusiasts as there’s lots of flora and fauna to appreciate, so pack your binoculars and a picnic and head off for a lovely day out.
Our St Helens cottages are situated just south of the Isle of Wight’s largest town, Ryde. The town has a wonderful seafront, a beach, shops, eateries and opportunities to do a range of activities, both inside and out. Further afield, there is lots to do on the island. The famous chalk stacks, The Needles, are on the west of the island, where you’ll find The Needles Landmark Attraction. Families will also enjoy the UK’s oldest amusement park, Blackgang Chine. For something a little more sedate, head to one of the island’s many beaches, such as Sandown Bay which is often considered one of Britain’s best. If you’re walking enthusiasts, the island’s varied landscape provides a range of routes, from sandy beaches to marshland to the rolling, green hills.
