Self-catering holiday cottages in Tansley
On the fringes of the Peak District and located just east of Matlock, Tansley is a pretty little village with three pubs and plenty to explore in the local area. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are lots of idyllic paths to follow and pretty riverside walks, plus the advantage of having the stunning Matlock so close means there’s a wide range of amenities just down the road.
Matlock’s selection of eateries and shops are both unique and interesting, so a day spent in the town is sure to be worthwhile. Whilst there, why not venture to Matlock Bath and to the Heights of Abraham? The cable car carries you hundreds of feet up through the valley, offering one of the most breath-taking and unrivalled views in the whole of Derbyshire and the Peak District.
