Holiday cottages & self-catering accommodation in Upottery, Devon

On the western banks of the River Otter in Mid Devon lies Upottery, one of a collection of villages forming the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fabulous walking routes are available for the energetic, though it’s just as pleasant to spend your time enjoying the tranquillity of Upottery and the east Devon countryside as a whole.

Upottery is the perhaps unlikely home of the Hartridge Buddhist Monastery, which is open for visiting should you be in a contemplative frame of mind.
