Holiday accommodation in Veryan

A coastal civil parish situated on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula in South Cornwall,, Veryan is often referred to as one of the loveliest inland villages in Cornwall, and was even famously described by John Betjeman as ‘a mild tropic garden’. Indeed, its position on the Lizard Peninsula gives it an edge over many villages in England, as the climate, while not tropical, is certainly more temperate than many.

The village has a charming pub, a welcoming retreat after a day spent exploring the South Cornwall coast. There is also a village store, where you can post letters and buy essentials, and a few historical places of interest nearby, including Carne Beacon, Veryan Castle and Melinsey Mill, the latter also offering a small mill museum, craft shop and tearoom. Come and visit the area and stay at one of our Veryan cottages as a base. Our holiday cottages in Veryan offer a great selection of Cornish accommodation, whether you are bringing the family, a significant other or your favourite four-legged friend.
