Self-catering holiday cottages in Whitehills

Whitehills is a small, atmospheric fishing village in Aberdeenshire on the Moray Firth. The village is now home to a marina that holds regular sailing events and plenty of berths for visiting yachts. Those who stay in our Whitehills cottages in Scotland can enjoy scenic walks along the coastal path, from which it may be possible to spot dolphins in the Moray Firth – it’s home to the most northerly population of bottlenose dolphins in the world. You’ll find an assortment of charming local pubs and shops near our holiday cottages in Whitehills, and a wider range of amenities can be found in Banff or Portsoy, just a few miles in either direction.

The area around our self-catering accommodation in Whitehills boasts a spectacular unspoilt coastline with numerous sandy beaches and coastal trails to explore, including the clifftops overlooking Cullen Bay. There’s also plenty of opportunities for golf, water sports, and bird watching at nearby Bow Fiddle Rock. The Speyside Whisky Trail is within easy reach, and within a short drive through the rolling Aberdeenshire countryside, you’ll find the National Trust for Scotland’s attractions of Fyvie Castle, Pitmedden Gardens and Haddo House.
