A friendly welcome awaits you at this delightful Cottage property, which is adjoined to the owners own home, where privacy is assured, nestling in the delightful Devon countryside.

There are far reaching views over open fields and the cottage's thick walls retain warmth for cosy winter visits and cool for summer days. The quiet immediate location is a haven for birds including birds of prey and many small garden varieties. Wildlife is abundant here and in the National Trust Ashclyst Forest which this cottage overlooks. This makes the area ideal for energetic walkers or a quiet ramble along the forest paths and around Broadclyst village. The East Devon beaches are a short drive away with their sheltered coves, sandy and pebble beaches, coastal walking or a stroll along the prom' at Sidmouth. The Jurassic Coast provides plenty of fossil hunting and the National Trust at nearby Killerton House and Bicton Gardens make a great day out. The nearby town of Exeter has facilities to suit all tastes with its ancient Cathedral, remaining Roman wall and modern shopping centre. The quay area is particularly interesting for a stroll and lunch or simply sitting beside the River Exe watching the world go by.

The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers ONE bedroom: double with TV/DVD approached via open cottage style stairs, with en-suite corner bath, shower over and WC. Lounge: with double sofa bed, coal effect electric fire, TV, DVD and Freeview. Kitchen/diner: farmhouse style with cooker, washing machine, fridge, freezer and microwave. Outside: The enclosed patio with seating and BBQ, can be accessed via the front door and through the side gate Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi, electric and electric heating included during the summer months (£20 heating surcharge applies during November - end of March inclusive). Regret no smoking within the property. 1 dog welcome, second by arrangement. Additional info: ready inflatable bed is available for children aged 8 and under. Location: beach 8 miles, shop 1 mile, pub walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We found no fault at all with cottage .every thing u needed was supplied .we did not see much of john the owner but he was very friendly and helpful.

We had a pleasant stay, bed comfy and although on a fast country road was only busy during 'rush' hours. Cottage well equipped.

The cottage is superb, and the owner who lives next door was lovely, couldn't do enough for us. The location is gorgeous and handy for so many places. The New Inn pub 500 yards down the road serves great food and reasonably priced, and welcomes dogs.
