Okehampton is a hotspot for walking in the Dartmoor National Park as it is the central point for almost all of the many marked trails and walkways, the Dartmoor Way, the Tarka Trail, the Two Moors Way, and the new cycle path The Granite way is only a 20 minute walk from the properties (bike hire can be arranged just 0.5 miles away). You will be perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall with easy access to the A30 being just a stone's throw away. You will have a choice of sandy beaches to the North and South as well as attractions to suit all tastes including Meldon Reservoir for walks and fishing, Roadford Reservoir with fishing and water sports, National Trust properties, The Eden Project (60 minute drive) and many more. Okehampton is just a mile's drive with its quirky arts and craft and general shops. Tavistock, an ancient stannary town, is easily accessible as is Plymouth and Exeter, offering many attractions such as theatres, restaurants and shopping centres. Golf and horse riding can be found locally, with a pub serving food within a mile.
Farm activities: a warm welcome is extended to visitors who would like to meet the owners golden retriever, feed the chickens and ducks and collect the eggs in the pet's corner. Games room: guests are welcome to enjoy the shared games room with pool table, table football and darts. Utility room: shared, with washing machine, tumble dryer. Outside: garden furniture and BBQ plus shared large garden that offers childrens' space to play football, badminton, short tennis, boules or try our letterbox trail, therefore giving parents the chance to relax! Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
