You’ll never be short of things to do at this superb accommodation with on site facilities whether you want to jump in the swimming pool or visit the local attractions – you’ll be spoilt for choice!

This property is located in the grounds of the locally acclaimed Waie Inn and has everything needed for a memorable Devon family holiday. The central location of the property means that guests are in an ideal position to visit all the county has to offer. The East Devon coast can be reached by a short drive to the likes of Exmouth, Sidmouth and Sandy Bay. Killerton House and Bicton Gardens are places of interest that make a great family day out. Take a short trip to the city of Exeter where visitors can shop, see the Roman wall and the ancient cathedral then relax with a meal on the quay.

Inside the property, the lounge is furnished with two sofas, an armchair, TV, DVD player and a Hi-Fi. The kitchen/diner is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridgewith ice compartment and dishwasher. There are three bedrooms: one double, one twin and one single, and all of them are equipped with TVs. The family bathroom has a shower over bath and a WC.

Guests have free use of the shared heated indoor swimming pool. Snooker tables, a skittle alley, squash courts and a five-a-side all-weather pitch can all be used. Children can enjoy playing in the large outdoor adventure playground with zip slides. The indoor soft play area with ball ponds, climbing areas, slides and its own coffee shop are also available for use for an additional charge. New sports hall due to open early January 2019 offering badminton, tennis, netball and football - this has to be booked direct with the owner prior to arrival. Carp fishing nearby. Ample parking is provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Holiday cottage was very clean and tidy good location. Lovely pub just next door food was very good and value for money . The only down side to the location was the roads were a bit tight

Friars cottage is lovely. Real home from home. We had a lovely week there. Easy distance to north or south coast. On site is soft play ( which is free if your stopping on site!) Swimming and playground entertain children if staying on site for the day. Swimming pool does get hired out so not always able to use sadly. Lovely pub on site also servingRead more good pub food. They catered for our sons multiple allergys well and trusted them after talking through the alergys with them. Would stay there again Hide

We had a really lovely stay & would recommend it to anyone with young kids. The onsite softplay was massive and not busy at all during the week. The swimming pool was great. The accommodation is basic but does the job. The location is quite remote, but there's a Co-Op about 5 mins drive away for food, and it's a 30ish min drive to Exeter or a few fRead moreun days out like a miniature Pony Sanctuary. Hide

Family of 4, 1 10 year old and a 3 year old. the location is a lovely peaceful setting, The facilities onsite we great, soft play was excellent (I hate the places). here though, I have to say it was great. very clean.the pub was great, skittles, etc, pool was lovely. The outdoor play area was great, new stuff being built by the lake. The courtyard Read morearea was a bit noisy at night, I could hear the kitchen extractor fans. Overall .. A great base. Hide

We have a 6 year old little boy, the weather wasnt great when we were there but he was not bored for 1 minute. There is so much to do. Swimming, soft play, outdoor play, football, gorgeous walks.
