This property makes a fantastic location for a break for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits and want to make the most of all that the local area has to offer. Dartmoor is quite literally on the doorstep, situated at the foot of the Iron Age hillfort of White Tor, with miles of walks to be enjoyed. For those who prefer to explore on two wheels, rather than on foot, the Devon Cycle Network passes within one mile of the property, taking visitors all the way down to Plymouth. The town of Tavistock is just two miles from the property, offering a range of shops, restaurants, a theatre and a bustling market. Further afield, yet still within easy access, there are many more places of interest including Buckland Abbey, the 18th century Saltram manor house and the National Marine Aquarium.

This property is one of two studio apartments in this converted barn, with this, the first-floor apartment, being accessed via a flight of external stairs which lead to the front door. On entering the property, guests will find that the open-plan space has everything that they will need to make themselves at home. In the lounge area of the room, sofa seating allows guests to take advantage of the spectacular views, as well as to enjoy the Smart TV/DVD with Freeview and Netflix. The dining area has a table seating four, beyond which the kitchen area is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, washing machine and coffee machine. The sleeping area has a double bed and bedside tables, and an adjacent en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside, the property has a small private patio and also enjoys access to the shared one acre garden, with outdoor furniture and BBQ, making it a lovely place to sit out and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There is covered bike storage available, and it is also possible to borrow bikes if you are unable to transport your own. There is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
