The nearby town of Bampton is just 100 meters from the property and boasts an array of eateries, traditional Devon pubs and independent shops to peruse. From here you can venture slightly further afield to Exmoor National Park, famed for its stunningly rugged scenery, array of flora and fauna, and some spectacular walks. The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with access to riding, golf, tennis, shooting and fishing nearby. There are beaches within 45 minutes’ drive to the north and south, and the National Trust Knightshayes Court and Killerton House are within easy reach. The picturesque cathedral city of Exeter is a short drive away and is a must see when coming to this part of the world, with its cobbled streets and beautiful architecture.
