On our honeymoon so the peace & quiet there was perfect. Quaint but modern, enclosed garden perfect for our husky. Nearest pub a mile walk away but very hilly! Food there was stunning. Hot tub fantastic. Owners were friendly & happy to help. Highly recommended.

Lovely, self contained area with all the required amenities. Excellent kitchen area with a comfy sofa and tv etc. The hot tub was a lovely way of relaxing following a day out exploring. The Shepards hut added an unique bedroom and was very comfortable. We had a great stay here and would return without hesitation.

Great quiet location, owner's very helpful and on hand if needed. Shepherd hut very cozy and warm, loads of space in the garden and the hot tub is lush. Location great for walks and visiting little villages, attractions especially the waterfalls at Canonteign Falls, beautiful day out.

Great if you want to be away from it all! Lovely being amongst nature but still having our creature comforts! Owners helpful & friendly. Garden great for dogs ( once they have got used to the cows!) Will definately go back!

Just had a fantastic mid week break at shepherds hut, the hut and living accommodation were perfect, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including a most unexpected welcome gift which went down very well on the first night, the views were fantastic and the place was so peaceful we could easily have stayed longer, the owner came down and Read moregreeted us and she was very welcoming and friendly. The hot tub was amazing and massive, it was also very well sheltered. Definitely coming :) Hide

Had a nice quiet and relaxing weekend. If youre looking to get away from everything then this is the place to come. Fully equipped, clean and tidy, no complaints at all. Would definitely come again and also recommend

Certainly a "get away from it all" location. The hot tub was excellent, as was the shepherd's hut. The seclusion was brilliant and perfect for a romantic holiday. The visiting cows in the adjacent field made novel holiday companions. Some nice pubs in the vicinity as well for eating out.
