The town of Ottery St Mary is walking distance from Little Gosford and offers a host of shops, tea rooms and antique shops. Escot Manor is less than a five minute drive away which offers a great family day out with lovely walks, a falconry display, pets corner, indoor play barn, kids zone, restaurant and much more. Close to cycle routes, horse riding and fishing available within the area. Crealy Adventure Park and Honiton Golf Club is a fifteen minutes drive away. The historic cities of Exeter and Taunton are half an hour away, offering many attractions, shopping centres, theatres and restaurants, enough to keep even the most discerning guests entertained. You will also be a comfortable drive to the delightful resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Exmouth, offering some picturesque coves and beaches. Farm activities: guests are welcomed with the owner's supervision and depending on the time of year, to help feed the lambs and collect freshly laid eggs.

This converted barn offers TWO bedrooms: set on one level 1 double bedroom and 1 twin. Shower room: family size offers spacious shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan enjoying ample comfy seating around the flatscreen TV, DVD and Freeview. Ample dining space. Kitchen provides integrated oven and hob with extractor fan, washing machine, undercounter fridge/freezer and microwave. Outside: private enclosed decked and patio area leads off the lounge and offers garden furniture and BBQ facilities. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and underfloor heating included, Wi-Fi included however due to the location can be intermittent. Regret no smoking or pets within the property. Location: beach 7 miles, shop and pub within 1 mile.

The location of the property is ideal for visiting all the main attractions. The owners extremely helpful without being intrusive. The views from the property over the adjoining fields excellent.

Great location and gorgeous views. Nice owners, on hand if needed. The hens were also amusing - be prepared for the cockerel waking you early! My son also enjoyed collecting the eggs. However the property itself, whilst being clean and functional, had a fridge which was far too small for a self-catering property - we eat a fair amount of fresh foodRead more and had to leave a lot out of the fridge, so it went off quickly. The bed was also small - I am 5'10 and my feet were hanging out if using a pillow! Hide

The location is great, the wifi is spotty at best, the beds are comfortable and except for the bathroom, the cottage appears clean.

The Lambing Shed is clean,comfortable & well equipped with uninterrupted views across a working small holding.It is situated right on the edge of the village very close to Ottery St.Mary & not far from the coast.

My husband and I had fantastic week here in April. Lovely property with wonderful views across the fields. Really peaceful and a great place to getaway and relax. Brilliantly situated with main road routes across Devon close by but once at the cottage it feels like it is miles away from anywhere.
