MEET THE NEW ARRIVALS - LAMBING AND CALVING FROM FEBRUARY THROUGH TO MAY

Located within 342 acres on a rare sheep and cattle farm, this delightful annexe is set within the grounds of the family farm. You will be perfectly positioned for touring both Devon and Cornwall with easy access to the A30 yet in a rural location.

There are a choice of sandy beaches to the north with Bude's sandy beaches (40 minutes), as well as attractions that include Meldon Reservoir for walks and fishing, Roadford Lake with fishing and watersports, National Trust properties, The Eden Project (60 minute drive) and many more. Okehampton is nearby with quirky arts and craft shops. Tavistock, an ancient stannary town, is easily accessible as is Plymouth and Exeter offering many attractions such as theatres, restaurants and shopping centres. Golf and riding can be found locally and there are two pubs within a 4 mile drive. Farm activities: guests are welcome (with the permission of the owners) to visit the working farm and meet the resident animals including pedigree South Devon cattle and the rare Whiteface Dartmoor sheep that inhabit the farm. Lambing and calving takes place from February through to May, so there is always a new arrival to meet.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with TV, DVD and 1 family room with a double and single bed. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with open fire (logs included), TV, DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen area offers electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: A shared garden with the owners, seating area with BBQ, trampoline and childrens sand-pit. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking or pets. Additional info: cream tea on arrival. Storage for bicycles available onsite. Access to the A30 just 4 miles away. Location: Shops 4 miles, pubs 4 miles. Beach 40 minute drive. War Horse Valley museum 5 miles. Okehampton Castle 4 miles.

Lovely cottage with many extras Everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. Extremely quiet with beautiful stars! Good central location for beach, moors and touring. We would love to return!

Everything about the cottage was brilliant... had everything you could ever think you might need and a nice touch was fresh scones jam and cream on arival.... about 10 minutes from nearest shops which was fine and lovely and quiet. Cycling on the Granite way wss 5 min drive away... about 30 min-40min away from Exeter and roughly the same for anythiRead moreng else of interest you might see in the vicinity. Cosy little cottage, very comfortable. Great for children. They loved being on a farm and seeing cows & sheep out of the window. Lovely host and very quiet
