Just returned from a fabulous holiday at The Retreat Waytown. The cottage is very well equipped for a family and is in a great setting on a working farm. Our little boy loved waking up to sheep and cows every day. Delicious scones made up a welcome pack on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage to anybody Read morewanting a cosy, homely base to explore Devon. Hide

Beautiful location, so quiet and peaceful, didn't want to leave. So many little extra from cream tea to bathroom toiletries. The owners were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble

Spacious, clean and comfortable cottage with excellent facilities and, in my opinion, a perfect distance to the nearby town of Okehampton, only about ten minutes away.

The pictures of this cottage do not do it justice. It is very spacious and comfortable. It's very peaceful and it was lovely seeing the farm sheep and cattle from the window. We were greeted on a very wet arrival day to a warm home and a Devon cream tea, such a lovely touch. The owner had left lots of little extras in the property, which due to itsRead more central location was ideally situated for exploring Devon. Plus it was beautifully clean. Hide
