Attractive barn conversion property, offering stylish accommodation for a couple’s break in rural South Devon, just thirteen miles from the beach at Sidmouth and eight miles from the town of Honiton.

This property enjoys a tranquil rural location in southern Devon, within easy reach of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, as well as beaches within Devon itself. Nearby, the market town of Honiton offers a range of interesting shops, pubs, and restaurants. To the south of the property, the Victorian seaside resort of Sidmouth, has an attractive beach and many listed buildings which hark back to the town’s heyday. Also within easy reach are the towns of Lyme Regis and Exeter, Pecorama gardens and railway museum in Beer, and the town of Axminster, home to River Cottage, where the owner and celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall runs a programme of interesting cookery courses, as well as a calendar of dining events throughout the year. A step leads up to the front door of this single-storey studio-style property, where guests can enjoy comfortable accommodation, perfect for a quiet break away in South Devon. The open-plan living space gives the property a spacious and airy feel, and has been lovingly styled by the owners to provide a relaxing atmosphere. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas, a cosy wood burner and a TV. Behind this area is the kitchen area, where guests will find an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge. Beyond the kitchen area, the sleeping area has a double bed, next to which is the contemporary shower room, with shower and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed patio area which benefits from lovely views over the neighbouring fields, and offers outdoor seating and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco meals, or evening drinks during the warmer months. There is off-road parking available for one car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Absolutely beautiful home, perfect location to go and explore the jurassic coast! Hosts where lovely and checked on us and the 3 dogs were a welcome sight every morning and evening! Will defiantly return!

A lovely cottage set up in a relaxing & beautiful country side area. Lovely people all around, owners & neighbours. Gorgeous lake by the cottage and friendly animals, sheep & dogs. Spacious, comfortable, quiet & relaxing.
