This lovingly converted barn is set in a peaceful countryside position on the Devon and Cornwall border. Well equipped and spacious, this is great base for a family or group getaway.

Set on the Devon and Cornwall border, this holiday cottage allows you to easily enjoy both counties. Choose from a range of beautiful beaches on the south and north coast, head to Dartmoor National Park for long walks rewarded by unrivalled views and other activities such as pony trekking. Nearby Roadford Lake is a good spot for keen anglers and watersport enthusiasts. Other attractions include The Eden Project, Lydford Gorge, Okehampton Castle, Dartmoor Zoo and the vibrant city of Exeter is also within easy reach. In the evenings take a relaxing stroll around the farmland, much of which is controlled by the countryside stewardship, or visit one of the many local family-run pubs serving delicious food. The characterful property offers upside down accommodation. The lower level features one double bedroom with en-suite shower over bath and WC and two twin rooms, one with en-suite shower room and one with an en-suite bathroom, both with WC. From the twin room you can step out through the French doors into the garden. Head upstairs where you’ll enter a hallway adjoining the lounge area. This is a large room with everything you need for comfortable holiday including a TV/DVD and woodburner (logs included). The exposed wooden beams add a touch of character to the room. The well-equipped kitchen/diner features an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a dining room table so you can all eat together. This floor also has a useful utility room with a washing machine and dryer and access to a separate WC. Outside, the lawn garden offers seating and a BBQ so you can eat outside while admiring the beautiful countryside views. There is ample parking for visitor.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Owners very welcoming and helpful. Property well equipped and in a lovely quiet setting. Spacious and plenty of outside space for parking and outdoor activities. Ideal for dogs. As a bonus Mrs Yeo has a catering business so she is able to supply meals on site, which we took advantage of as we had a family celebration whilst there. It was excellent.

Great place all bedrooms have en-suite. Sofa super comfy. Great location for both Devon and Cornwall. Very central between the two counties. Hosts were very friendly. Love to visit again.
