This apartment is situated in the heart of the old fishing village of Appledore. The property has been refurbished and offers excellent views of the estuary and beach.

The village has a bustling quayside with its small shops, cafes and restaurants and is a hive of activity when the fishing boats come ashore. Take a short drive over the river to the sandy beach of Instow. Also a couple of miles away is the sandy beach of Westward Ho! which is great for surfing and swimming. The region of North Devon has many attractions which include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal and many more.

This modernised apartment offers TWO bedrooms: 1 large king-size room with stunning estuary and beach views and 1 twin room. Bathroom: with shower over bath. Seperate WC. Lounge/diner: large and enjoying a southerly aspect with a large bay window and views across the estuary and nearby countryside. TV, DVD and iPod dock. Kitchen: modern and well-equipped with cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Outside: communal seating area. Amenities: parking for 1 car subject to availability (additional roadside parking close by). Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Regret no pets or smoking. Location: beach 5 minute drive, pubs, restaurants and shops walking distance. Arrival 3pm.

Lovely location. Light, airy flat with nice view over the estuary but could be better equipped.

The location was perfect, although at the top of steep hill, in fact a hill to climb in every direction which could be difficult if you had mobility or health issues,hence the views. Toilet door does not close which could be a problem if there were two couples, the apartment was very clean, had everything you need, bed comfortable, need some wifi.

Apartment was lovely and clean with most mod cons. Big spacious bedrooms and lounge area with good view over the estuary. Wi fi would be good for rainy days. Appledore and surrounding areas are pleasant but not much to do!
