This stunning penthouse apartment, with beautiful estuary and sea views, is situated on the edge of the village of Northam and only a mile from the seaside town of Westward Ho! with its shops, restaurants, bars and 2 miles of sandy beach popular with surfers and sunbathers alike.

Close to the South West Coast Path, the village of Northam is a great base from which to explore the North Devon coast. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail or take the public footpath along the riverbank into the Little White Town of Bideford to the south, or the old fishing village of Appledore to the north. Other attractions within a short drive are The Big Sheep family fun park and the historic village of Clovelly, with its whitewashed cottages and pretty harbour. A regular local bus service connects Northam to Bideford, Appledore, Instow and beyond.

As you enter the building there is either a staircase or lift to take you to the third floor. On entering the penthouse, you immediately notice the bright, light rooms and the high ceilings which give the whole property a feeling of space. The large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner wows you with its fabulous view across Northam Burrows to the estuary and sea beyond. Relax on the sofa and catch up with a movie on the Smart TV with Netflix. Beautiful apartment exceptionally well equipped and owners go above and beyond and supply coffee, tea, sugar and even locally made cookies. Lovely view from balcony.

The first thing to hit us were the views. The photos don't do them justice. The flat is beautiful and clearly new and to a high spec. Location was perfect for us. A pleasant walk to the beach, but in a quiet residential location. We are already looking at dates to return, and we don't normally do that!
