Lovely cosy cottage with excellent stepped garden area with fantastic views. Unfortunately the room with bunk beds has the best view! However, both double rooms are very good rooms. Living room is cosy and nicely furnished. Kitchen is small. Needs some extraction as smoke alarm goes off easily. However, we had a lovely stay and loved the property. Fantastic cottage. Really nicely done inside and very comfortable. More than adequately equipped. Best cottage we've had at this price in 6 years of summer holidays. Fantastic view from out of the back and 5 minute walk (if that) to the promenade of the lovely friendly town of Appledore. We would recommend this cottage to any group of up to 6 peoplRead moree who will have plenty of room. Hide

Lovely Cottage with superb views of the Estuary. Appledore is a lovely village and also Instow Beach is great for dogs. The cottage has all the amenities you would need on a holiday its just a little tired in places. The steps upstairs are very steep and narrow but wasn't a problem for us.

Absolutely stunning place, the views are beautiful, cottage is quaint, short walk to quay, with shops and pubs, just be aware of a drop of about 20-30 feet over back wall

Loved the cottage, cosy and comfy. Lovely views across the estuary. Will return!

The cottage itself is lovely, great views of the estuary from the upstairs windows in particular. The kitchen is well equipt and the desk outside a great place to enjoy a drink and take in the view. There is a steep walk down to the cottage and the on-street parking can be a problem
