This delightful property has been purpose built and lovingly furnished to provide a comfortable and relaxing retreat for couples. Within easy reach of an array of public footpaths, the famous Tarka Trail and the North Devon coast, walkers and cyclists will be in their element.

Outdoors and nature enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks within easy reach, and each boasting some great hiking terrain and stunning flora and fauna. Alternatively, those who enjoy beaches and watersports will only be a short drive from the beautifully rugged North Devon coast, famed for its sand and surf and both Meldon Reservoir and Roadford Lake, offering fishing and walks. There are also numerous traditional market towns and villages to explore in the area such as Hatherleigh and Great Torrington. Other attractions and places of interest nearby include RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and Tapeley Park.

As you walk through the stable doors into this secluded lodge you enter a spacious bright and airy open plan modern kitchen, lounge, dining room with beautiful beams on display.  There is a wood burner perfect for cosying up in front of the TV and relaxing. The double bedroom has been decorated in light colours and gorgeous linens and the bathroom enjoys a modern walk in shower.

Outside there is an enclosed decked balcony with seating and beautiful countryside views. The hot tub is the perfect romantic indulgence for your stay or why not relax in the hammock on a summers day.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Wow what can i say ! Such a lovely couple and lovely little lodge. Very friendly on arrival. Me and my partner stayed here with our dog for a couple of day . The weather wasnt great for the first 2nights but we have a lovely time here the owner left us to it and gave us our privacy. Was every helpfull with any problem we had e.g internet, needing mRead moreore logs. If your look for just a few days to chill and unwind this place is great for it.. also little pub down the way that do a fantastic roast . Hide

We had a lovely stay at Becks Meadow Lodge. It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. The view was wonderful, and the hot tub is a lovely luxury bonus. The cottage was perfect in an ideal location for various walks, days out and trips to the seaside. Hazel was a fantastic host and our privacy was respected. The cottage itself is nicely decorated and well kept. We enjoyed relaxing on an evening in the hot tub. Thank you for a great holiday.

Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The lodge was immaculate when we arrived and Hazel welcomed us, giving us all the information we needed. Privacy was respected at all times and the hot tub was amazing. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a quiet getaway in the heart of Devon.

Me, my husband and our dog stayed in July and had a wonderful time, its cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely, we spent every evening in watching our dog play in the garden. The location is ideal for visiting the beach (bude a 40 min drive), countryside walks and little villages. There is a lovely pub a short walk away down a quRead moreiet country lane. The welcome from Hazel and Stephen was really lovely and although they are very close our privacy was protected. The hot tub is fab and great to relax in after being out in the day time. Lovely cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed having the hot tub (now a new electric type rather than wood fired- much more convenient) and the fully enclosed garden was great for our little dog. Cottage was only half an hour from several beautiful dog friendly beaches near Bude (walking from Northcott Mouth to Sandymouth beach at low tide Read morewas lovely), and right on the edge of Dartmoor for walking (Meldon Reservoir and Lyndon Gorge both enjoyable). Hazel and Stephen made us feel very welcome. The lodge is well equipped and finished to a high standard. The new hot tub was a nice suprise. We had everything we needed and our dog had a great time lying on the decking listening to the sounds of the wildlife. We enjoyed a fabulous week at the lodge. The area is lovely and the lodge had everything you would require for a very comfortable stay. We chose the lodge as we wanted to take our dog with us. Well located with lots of places to visit within easy reach. We managed to spend time at lots of lovely beaches including Bude, Westward Ho, Bideford, ClovelRead morely. A beautiful little lodge situated in beautiful countryside.
