This Scandinavian style property is situated in an idyllic, private location, in a quiet valley accessed via a small bridge and overlooked by the glorious Devon hills. The surrounding grounds are a haven for lovers of nature, fishing and water gardens.

A truly relaxing place that also offers a farm shop, fishing lakes and a small tea room serving light lunches and beautiful cream teas. If you can bear to tear yourself away there is much to see and do nearby the coastal villages and towns of Braunton, Croyde, Woolacombe, Lynmouth, Lynton, Ilfracombe are all within a 30 minute drive. The National Trust property Arlington Court is just 4 miles and Knighthayes Court is a 45 minute drive. Leisure facilities: fly fishing available on site.

The light and airy studio-style accommodation offers: lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping area: open-plan area with woodburner (logs included), TV/DVD and French doors which lead out onto the decked balcony. Sleeping area with super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into twin beds on request). Kitchen area: well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Shower room: with walk-in shower and WC. Outside: decked balcony with garden furniture overlooking the ponds and rear courtyard area with access to private parking area. Amenities: ample parking. The lodge was exactly as shown in the photographs, beautifully designed, warm and comfortable. Overlooking beautiful scenery, with tremendous fishing, we have already booked to return in the spring.

We could not recommend this holiday accommodation enough, its in the most beautiful, tranquil setting, it was spotlessly clean, it had a lovely comfortable bed and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, the owners were the loveliest people you could ever meet. Kingfisher lodge is a superb gem in a tranquil setting. Absloutley perfect property. So comfortable , spotless inside. Everything you need and more . Perfect location. Surroundings are beautiful. Easy to get to lots of lovely places . Tea shop on site is perfect for cream tea. One of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed in.
