Stylish, clean cottage with excellent river views. Close to the Tarka Trail with enjoyable walks. As noted by others, stairs are very steep in the property. Was hard to find as no sign for Boathouse Cottage on the property, so do check for detailed arrival instructions as not clear.

Cottage was in a lovely location. We had car so it was not far to travel to a local supermarket. My sister rang to speak to the owner as we had booked the property as a 50th birthday present for our mum and dad. The owner was great and arrange some balloons, chocolates and wine on arrival.

Good clean cottage, a few items need addressing to make it excellent, very comfortable bed, lovely west views over the tidal river, short walk into town. steep stairs for elderly/disabled.

The cottage was in an excellent location right on the river side and overlooking the town just a short walk across the bridge away. Spacious, beautifully presented and furnished. A fabulous break.

Super cottage on the banks of the river. Very clean and furnishings lovely. The deck area on the river really makes this cottage. Would suggest that it is not suitable for small children - the wall between the river bank and the decking is low ! The stairs to the bedroom and bathroom require care (very steep) so probably not suitable for those withRead more mobility problems. But that all said for a couple it is wonderful for a break. Hide
