Nestling within a small courtyard of three private properties this barn conversion, furnished to a high standard, with magnificent views over open fields, is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Littleham.

Located in a lovely setting surrounded by acres of fields yet only a short drive from the "The Little White Town" of Bideford. The spectacular rugged North Devon coastline is within 3 miles, with cliff-top walks along the South West Coast Path and the vast sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands. Picturesque Appledore and Instow are close by, and the nearby village of Buckland Brewer has a traditional butcher and pub. Atlantic Village shopping centre is also within a couple of miles. Local attractions include RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, the Tarka Trail, Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep, Hartland Abbey, Clovelly fishing village and day trips to Lundy Island.

The deceptively spacious accommodation, on one level, offers TWO bedrooms: 1 spacious king-size with Freeview TV and en-suite shower room with WC and 1 twin zip-and-link (can be super king-size on request). Bathroom: Jack & Jill style, bath with hand-held shower, separate shower and WC. Lounge: with woodburner (first basket of logs included), 40” Freeview TV, DVD and French doors to the decked area. Kitchen/diner: large open-plan area with electric cooker with hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Outside: private enclosed large rear garden, accessed via steps or slope down from the decked area, with lovely countryside views. New for 2016 - Secure covered cycle storage. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Location: beach 4 miles, shop 2 miles, pub within 1 mile. I can honestly say this is the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Very spacious, very clean and everything you could need in a home from home, topped off by the fantastic garden. Unfortunately the weather could have been a bit better but we managed to get out and about and had a fantastic cottage to come back to.

This cottage was very well equipped with all you need to enjoy your holiday, lots of attention has been made to make your stay cosy and feels like a home, not a holiday let that has no personal touches. Nice to sit on the decking and look at the views of the countryside whilst taking a glass of refreshment.

We had a good time in spite of the weather, the views over the garden and the fields beyond were good. It was important for us to have all the accomodation on the ground floor.
