Nestling at the end of a lane adjacent to the owners own home you are surrounded by acres of fruit orchards, produce gardens, bee hives and fields with sheep and chickens it is an idyllic spot and a short 10 minute walk to the beach.

Combe Martin boasts its own harbour and sheltered sandy bay that offers spectacular views across the bay to the dramatic Hangman Hills of Exmoor and beyond. Below at low tide the large expanses of golden sand. The village also has a 17th century inn, Post Office, bakery, butchers, chemist and garage. From here the South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park offers walks with breath-taking views a short walk away from the property. Walkers and nature lovers will be in their element. There are numerous beaches that are within easy reach that include Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands.

Accessed via a long narrow, walled track you will find the property adjacent to the owners home and is set over one level. Once parked you will enter the property via steps, in to the hallway. To your left you will find the lounge with TV/DVD and sound system. Exploring the property further there is a dinning room which leads to a well equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. A small utility room houses a chest freezer. You will then find the lovely bedroom consists of a super-king-size zip-and-link which can made in to a twin on request. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.

Directly outside the property there is an enclosed patio area with garden furniture. The property also benefits from use of the shared gardens with various seating areas, BBQ and views across the farm. Within the shared gardens you are surround by acres of fruit orchards, produce gardens, and fields with farm animals. There is storage available for bikes and surf boards and ample parking.

This year is our second visit to this property and was just as good as our first in 2108. The owners are the kindest most helpful people one would wish to meet. They were like good neighbours, and now are firm friends.

Our break exceeded all expectations which were already high, given the reviews of previous guests. The cottage was comfortable and Louise and Mike were perfect hosts, available but not intrusive.

What a perfect location for a getaway, any time of the year. From the warm welcome and the thoughtful extras (milk, bread, marmalade, jam and cake!), to the well thought out bungalow in a beautiful location, it couldn't have been a better place to recharge. The spotlessly clean accommodation is well thought out with everything you could need for a Read morelong or short stay. Couple this with such friendly and helpful hosts, this is a great base from which to explore this stunning bit of North Devon. Hide

Nice bungalow tucked away at the end of a lane. The bungalow was well equipped, and the owners were extremely pleasant and helpful. Good choice, especially in the autumn/ winter as a restful getaway.

The cottage is down quite a narrow track and next to the owner's property. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and left us cake and apples from the farm. The cottage was warm, comfortable, well equipped and only a short distance from the cove. Perfect for exploring north Devon.

The cottage is ideal for couples wanting a quiet, peaceful break in a quality dwelling. It is within an easy walk of Combe Martin Centre either across the fields or via the road. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely lovely! Everything exactly as described. Hosts very kind and knowledgeable about the local area. We spent a beautiful evening with them at Woolacombe, complete with Thai curry on the beach. We slept extremely well and had a very refreshing holiday.
