Comfortable bungalow located on the owner’s farm, with direct access to the indoor heated pool and multi-gym. Located in Higher Clovelly, just a short drive from both the North Devon and Cornwall coasts.

This single-storey property is located in the stunning Devonshire countryside, in the hamlet of Higher Clovelly, which is just two miles from the popular village of Clovelly, a stunningly maintained private village with its famous cobbled streets and gives visitors a taste of Devonshire life in times gone by. There are a number of beaches in the area, the large family-friendly beach at Westward Ho! which also boasts a surfing academy or Bude and all of its lively beaches. Just ten miles from the property, the pretty harbour town of Bideford offers narrow winding streets lined with interesting shops, which make it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Or why not take the boat from Bideford Quay (or Ilfracombe) out to the island of Lundy, a beautiful three-mile wide wild island located in the Bristol Channel.

This property is accessed via several external steps or a ramp. The comfortable, light-filled lounge/diary is dominated by the stunning far-reaching views of both countryside and coastline which can be enjoyed from the dining room and one of the sofaa. There is also a TV/DVD, so there is always a choice of relaxing entertainment at the end of a busy day. In the kitchen, guests will find everything they need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. The property has two bedrooms: an attractive double room with an en-suite shower room with WC, and a relaxing twin room. The family bathroom has a lovely free-standing bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC.

Outside, there is an elevated patio area, with seating and a BBQ, to the front of the property, which extends down to a lawn with beautiful far-reaching views to the sea. There is a pond here, so guests should take care and children should be supervised at all times. Guests are also able to explore parts of the farm, and of course, have access to the indoor heated swimming pool (private sessions can be arranged on arrival). There are plenty of animals on the farm, which guests, particularly younger ones, may like to meet, including sheep, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises, and terrapins. Ample parking is also available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A well equipped cottage set in beautiful countryside. The owners (Lesley and Keith) were very friendly and helpful when we needed advice. Having the additional luxury of use of the swimming pool was definitely an added bonus. Possibly the nicest cottage I've ever stayed in.

Leslie and Keith were great. Very helpful and sharing of their time and recommendations of what to do/ where to go? The animals were fun to be around and a nice diversion. Having a swimming pool to ourselves was a real luxury and we took advantage of that. Easy access for my 90 year old mother and great views across the bay as well. Immaculate cottage with fantastic facilities and perfect location. We had a fantastic time. The pool house and facilities were spotless and a lot of consideration was obviously put into guest comfort. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and our dogs were welcome too. Loved it. A week isn't enough in this part of Devon, so much to do!

Lesley and Keith, the owners, were very friendly and welcoming without being at all intrusive. The property was in an excellent position with beautiful views over the fields and sea, and very conveniently situated for visiting this part of North Devon. Fantastic cottage, well equipped, cosy, spotless, pool amazing, being on a farm great (especially bottle feeding lambs), nothing too much trouble, welcome basket very thoughtful, good location, we'd definitely come back.
