This was a lovely cottage and I was made very welcome. The fishing lake, private wood and variety of farm animals made it interesting. I took my dog and found it a good base to explore the area and beaches.

Nice comfortable compact cottage for two, a little off the beaten track, but where in Devon/Cornwall isn't, just brush up on your reversing along narrow lanes to find a passing area, usually a field entrance. (Reversing cameras very useful). We did not have brilliant weather but not a problem as the property was so good. We are from the country butRead more still good fun to feed the pigs, sheep, goats, hens and ducks, also hens eggs to collect yourself - super fresh at 15p each. Good fishing lake. Hide

We loved this cottage, the layout was well thought out with a fabulous entrance way for sorting out boots, coats and dogs. We had quite a few rain showers during our stay so had somewhere to towel the dogs off. The whirlpool bath was a real treat after a long walk. The atmosphere was welcoming and cosy and on the few occasions it was very humid, thRead moree velux roof lights came into their own letting out the warm air. A real home from home, we loved it and so did th dogs! Hide
