The Tarka Trail, a 32-mile long traffic-free cycling and walking trail, is just a short walk from the property, offering walks for all abilities. This property is superb, it has everything we could have wanted for our 6 day stay. The location is ideal for all North Devon's many attractions and Mandy and Andy were excellent hosts.

As well as the Lodge having an advantage of being situated in such a beautiful area that lends itself to stunning nature walks, the Lodge is amazing in of itself. We were so comfortable staying here that we didn't feel too guilty staying in perhaps a bit more than one should on holiday. We are impresswith how clean and modern, but homely the place Read morefeels. And it was a joy to cook a couple of nights then head down your welcoming local for a meal on the Thursday night. Hide

The cottage met our main objectives which were a quiet location that provided country walks as well as easy access to places in and around North Devon. It was well equipped and tastefully decorated with lots of information provided about the area. Being in a small village provides a great opportunity to explore and meet the locals whilst at the samRead moree time being able to access nearby Bideford by car within 10 minutes. Hide

A very comfortable and clean apartment with living accommodation upstairs and bathroom downstairs. A nice welcome from the owners who live on site. The quiet village has a pub and a church but no shop, although Torrington and Bideford are not too far away. We enjoyed two days of cycling on the Tarka Trail, which is accessible by bike through the viRead morellage (just under 2 miles) or on foot through a steep woodland path, which is not suitable for bikes.
