This spacious wing of the owners' newly converted farmhouse overlooks the former farmyard yet privacy is assured. Ideally placed for touring the area with numerous local attractions nearby.

There is lots to see and do in the area including the picturesque Hartland Quay and the beautiful South West Coast Path with spectacular walks and stunning scenery, including dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, secluded coves and beaches. In addition, and just a short drive away, Westward Ho! offers two miles of golden sandy beach and ever popular Bude boasts a choice of beaches, numerous amenities and a picturesque canal. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Clovelly, the unique cliffside fishing village with cobbled streets and pretty harbour and RHS Rosemoor.

Guests approach the property from the pretty arched gateway and are greeted by a mosaic tiled entrance hall. Stepping into the comfortable lounge with TV/DVD and feature fireplace with wood burner, making this a comfortable room to relax after a days exploring. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped and offers everything you require should you decide to stay in and cook, there is an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and ample room to sit around the table, the door from the kitchen area leads out to a small enclosed courtyard. Leading up from the cottage style stair case you reach the large king-size bedroom with TV and country views. The large en-suite bathroom offers freestanding bath, double shower and WC.

Heading outside from the front door is a gated lawn with enclosed patio area with garden furniture. At the rear of the property is a small enclosed courtyard with BBQ which enjoys the evening sun. There is allocated off-road parking for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely quiet and peaceful location, perfect for visiting both north Devon and Cornwall. Pretty garden at the front, lovely old front door into a spacious and well equipped cottage. Large bedroom, fantastic new bathroom with a delightful bath and huge separate shower. We only stayed for three nights, could have happily stayed for two weeks!

This was a delightful property of the highest specification. When we broke a cup and offered to replace it, the offer was refused and four mugs were on the doorstep when we returned that evening. We cannot rate this property or service more highly.

We had a lovely week at Honeysuckle Hideaway. The property is excellent and much bigger than expected. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything to make it a home from home. Peacefull location but close enough to access the main road for exploring the Devon beaches and countryside. Highly recommended and we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We had no problems during our stay once the heating had been turned on after we enquires about it on arrival. Cottage is sparkling clean, felt like no one had ever been there before! The cottage is much bigger than in pictures - maybe worth getting new photos done? It has been renovated with skill. Unfortunately I got really sick with the flu on daRead morey two so we explored very little of the surrounding areas. There is a large Asda short drive away which was handy. A delightful location with easy access to main roads to enable you to tour the area. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. There is a field nearby owned by the cottage that you can exercise your dog(s) in if you need to. Highly recommended.
