Wonderful cottage with stunning views to the sea. The cottage is extremely good value for money with added extras that you would not normally find in a property of this size e.g. dishwasher and tumble dryer - to name just two. Outside space is limited but who needs that when you have the beach and other walks within easy reach. Shops are local. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with views to die for. We had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly go back again. The only slight downside was the narrow parking on the road, but that is probably more to do with my parking skills. Overall I would definitely recommend this cottage.

The beach was more of a walk than had been stated in the brochure, and to take the car there was costing 3.50 per day. This might put people off of they had children and wanted to go everyday. There was not much outside space, which spoiled a great view and sitting out in the evening was not so enjoyable despite the great weather we had.

Had a 4 night stay in early July. It's a lovely cottage, comfy and very well equipped. Great location close to the beach and easy walk into Westward Ho! with plenty of pubs etc for food. Able to unload the car right outside the cottage and then parked on the road at the bottom of the drive with no problems. Very helpful friendly owner. Lovely cottage with everything we needed. It was a little far to walk to Westward Ho beach with small children but there is so much to do in the area. We had a fab holiday.

Lakenham Cottage is an attractive, comfortable, older-style house in a good location between Westward Ho! and Northam. The main road into Westward is busy, but there is a quieter way via Golf Links Road. We walked to Appledore, Northam Burrowsand the coastpath at Westward Ho! Westward has a lovely centre around a village green, with some upmarket sRead morehops and a good Italian restaurant. The ice-cream vans have wonderful icecream. The coastal scenery is beautiful.
