The properties are a few miles from the 2 charming villages of Bradworthy and Kilkhampton, both offering pubs, shops, Post Office and church. Hartland Abbey, Tapeley Park and Rosemoor are all within a short drive with spectacular houses and gardens to wander. Lots to see and do in the area including walking, shooting, watersports and fishing at the nearby Tamar Lakes, the lakes are 10 minutes walk away, where you'll find paths to allow for lake side circuit walks.

The detached barn is approached via a sweeping driveway and has been designed, decorated and furnished to a high standard to offering stylish contemporary living with the accommodation offering SIX bedrooms: on the first floor 2 doubles with en-suite shower room with WC, 1 further double, 1 twin and 1 family room with 4 single beds and en-suite shower room with WC. On the ground floor 1 twin with patio doors opening out onto a private courtyard area and en-suite bathroom: with bath, shower, WC and under floor heating. Bathroom: on the first floor with freestanding slipper bath, shower and WC. Separate WC on the ground floor. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open- plan with wooden and slate flooring throughout the ground floor, wall mounted TV/DVD, a central raised woodburner (logs included) and doors leading out to patio with access to hot tub. Kitchen area well-equipped with dishwasher, range style cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. Utility room: with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer. Outside: exclusive use of hot tub. Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We recently stayed at Lympscott barn to celebrate my 60th birthday,ages from 6yrs to 68yrys, we had a fantastic time , we all enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. The main room kitchen/dining room/lounge was amazing and with 12 of us staying there it was ideal. The property was just amazing. Even better than the photos. Very high spec. All beds were comfy & good size rooms. The hot tub was a bonus & was used a lot. We loved it and would certainly return.

Great for a large family party. Owners very helpful and approachable. Spacious, well planned conversion. Excellent open-plan living area with log burner, although with underfloor heating you need only use it for extra cosiness. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Wet weather meant muddy walks with the dogs. 14 of us stayed here for 30th birthday celebrations. You don't expect it to be as nice as the pictures, but it exceeded our expectations! Very impressive house with lots of equipment and stuff we'd need. Owners are right next door, but don't worry about noise, or "hound" you too much - at all actually. As an extended family of 11 ranging from 7-74yrs old we spent a week at the barn and have had an excellent holiday. Lympscott Barn was a wonderful property for our family birthday party. Lympscott Barn has quality accommodation equipped to a high standard and was perfect for our family of 7 children and 6 adults. Located on a dairy farm the owners were very welcoming and the children loved looking around the farm and watching the milking. We all loved the well equipped games room and jacuzzi. The beautiful National Trust beach at SRead moreandy Mouth bay was only 15 minutes away was a great favourite with the children and they enjoyed canoeing on the nearby Tamar Lakes. Hide

Lympscott barn was lovely. Very spacious and lovely grounds for us to let off unspent energy. Maybe a couple of extra towels and an introduction to the owners in case we needed anything would be a nice touch.

Stunning location and beautiful, spacious house. It was a perfect setting for my sister's hen do and the owners were really accommodating and friendly - even letting us use the lawn as a dance floor and join a YFC event in their field!

Property was lovely and we had a wonderful time, the younger girls in our family get together had a fashion show on the grand staircase in the front hall. The hot tub was in use the whole holiday, and my eldest granddaughter got up early to help feed the calves. Nice location.
