This spacious and stylish detached single storey property situated in one of North Devon’s most prestigious locations is a perfect holiday home that enjoys breathtaking views across Bideford Bay.

A sprawling coastal retreat, it is now part of our exclusive Joules Collection, so you can enjoy even more luxurious touches throughout the property, hand-picked by Joules and showcasing their iconic colourful signature style.

On the outskirts of popular Appledore, you will be a fifteen minute stroll from the quayside which is steeped in nautical history. Enjoy fishing trips, numerous pubs, restaurants, galleries and the Maritime Museum, or take a boat ride across to Instow. Westward Ho! is a popular seaside resort less than a mile away and has two miles of long sandy beach. It also gives you access to the National Trust cliff-tops for walkers. The market town of Bideford is a ten minute drive away and where you can catch the MS Oldenburg for a day trip to Lundy Island. Amongst many other delights in North Devon are The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and The Milky Way Adventure Park.

On entering this property, you will find yourself in the bright and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With fabulous views, ample seating, TV with full SKY package and DVD plus an iPod docking station, the spacious and welcoming lounge is a fantastic place to relax. The light and airy dining area is ideally situated, and you have a choice of breakfast bar or refectory style dining table. The elegant and stylish kitchen is equipped with everything you might need including twin ovens, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the utility room. Exploring further, there are five comfortable bedrooms, all with TV. The master suite, which is accessed via two steps, has a double bed, large walk-in wardrobe, views over the bay and an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. There are two further double rooms, one with en-suite shower room and WC, and two twin rooms, one of which is accessed via a small step. You will also find a bathroom complete with shower and WC, and a shower room with WC.

Heading outside, you can relax at the end of an enjoyable day in the large enclosed tiered garden, which has a beautifully furnished patio area, making it ideal for dining al fresco. Off-road parking is available for four cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Easy walk into Appledore, only problem for some would be the uphill walk back! We were very pleased with this large well equipped property. It was ideal for our party size of six adults and two children.

We had a fab few days away during the Easter break. The holiday home was beautiful and offered plenty of space for four adults, three children and a well behaved medium dog. It was beautifully presented, well equipped with all we needed and a lovely cream tea welcome. We would definitely recommend 'Mulberry' for a family break away. Thank you.

Very well equipped and comfortable house, nice views - on clear days you can see Lundy Island. About 3/4 mile walk down to Appledore which has some shops and a couple of nice pubs, (uphill on the way back, so good for the calf muscles...)

Lovely stay in this very well equipped cottage. Good size bedrooms and communal rooms with space for all ten of us and our dog. Close to the beach and good shopping amenities nearby. It was a relaxing stay and a place we would love to go back.

We loved our stay at Mulberry we were a group of 8 adults, 3 children under 4 yrs old and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location is great and the beach at Westward Ho was beautiful, 4 of our group who surf said it was the best surfing they had experienced in North Devon.

This is a really lovely property with everything you could need and very high spec. Bathrooms and showers very good. Kitchen and utility rooms very well equipped. The bungalow has a fantastic view, is very well equipped and very clean. The layout is great for families or friends. Appledore is a lovely village as is Instow over the water. Our dogs loved the garden and their beach walks, they hid when it was time to go home!

We were a family of 10 adults (5 couples) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The cottage was spotless and well equipped for cooking with more than enough crockery etc. The dog loved the garden and the fantastic walks just down the road onto the shoreline country park and beach. Appledore is a lovely village, pretty and with enough facilitiRead morees but not too 'touristy'. Great eating places within.The lounge lacked a bit of 'cosiness' but that was our only complaint.
