This remarkable coastal penthouse apartment, has been fitted and furnished to a delightful standard, offering the perfect Devon retreat for a family or couples alike.

Perfectly situated some 500 feet above sea level, this delightful property offers some of the best sea views across North Devon Coastline. Located within a few feet of the apartment is the famous 18th century water powered Cliff Railway which links Lynton and Lynmouth. The Victorian village of Lynton is within walking distance of the apartment and offers an array of boutique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Venture further afield and enjoy a day of exploring the unique landscape of moorland, woodlands, valleys and farmland that Exmoor National Park has to offer. There are many attractions easily accessible from here, including National Trust property Arlington Court, Watermouth Castle and Exmoor Zoological Gardens.

To access the delightful penthouse apartment, you walk through the owners hotel, where a warm welcome will be awaiting. On entering the apartment via the three flights of internal stairs, you are greeted by the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Within the lounge area you have two comfy sofas and a TV, great for those nights in after a long day of exploring. If you decide to stay in of an evening and cook there is a well-equipped kitchen on offer with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and slow cooker. However if you'd prefer not to cook in the mornings, breakfast can be pre-booking directly with the hotel. Leading off the living area are two king-size bedrooms, boasting sea views, TVs and their very own en-suite shower rooms.

Venture outside via the rear door and you will find a path which will lead you straight into the village of Lynton. There is one off-road parking space available. If you require further parking space there is a quiet public car park five minutes away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A nicely equipped apartment with wonderful views from both of the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a nice quiet and level road at the front of the hotel which was good for walking the dogs. Also the back entrance up steps and you are into the town. You do have to be reasonably fit because it is quite a trek from the front of the hotel up 3 flights Read morecarrying your luggage. Hide

The apartment is brilliant. Perfectly located with a private path running to the area at the top of the Cliff Railway and local shops. There are 3 flights of stairs to get up initially from the car park at the front, but once established in the apartment the private path makes entry/exit easy and great for getting out to the town. Top floor apartment, newly furnished and lovely. Be aware it is on the third floor and any luggage has got to get there and back. Lovely position with great views out to sea and towards the Welsh coast. Private steps leading from the apartment take you up to the Cliff Railway and the Town. The footpath down to Lynmouth and also the Valley of the RoRead morecks passes by. All in all a great location. Hide

Lovely and helpful people at the hotel and had a very restful week here: Beds very comfy and view from rooms are stunning. Everything you need for a week away from home. Such a dog friendly place practically could take our pooch anywhere.
