Contemporary apartment, offering breath-taking sea views, situated right on the waterfront in the popular seaside town of Ilfracombe, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

It is with good reason that many holiday-makers return to Ilfracombe year-on-year, and guests fortunate enough to be staying at this seafront apartment will soon see why. The town has something to offer everyone, whether they like to spend relaxing days at the beach, shop till they drop, or explore the town’s heritage and culture. The unusual Tunnels Beach is an idyllic place to spend a day at the seaside, with its picturesque beach, tidal pool, and café, all accessed via a system of amazing hand-carved tunnels. The town also boasts an aquarium, a range of shops, and a harbour from where visitors can choose to take a fun boat trip out to sea. The town also enjoys a special connection with the highly-regarded British artist, Damien Hirst, who has chosen the town as the home for his largest work to date, a huge bronze and steel sculpture of warrior woman, Verity, who proudly guards the town’s harbour.

Those who want to enjoy a holiday right on the water’s edge need look no further- this stunning five-star, lower-ground floor apartment offers the very best views and the highest standard of accommodation. The main living space is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a stylish room with a contemporary edge, which is flooded with that special quality of light that is unique to seafront properties. The dining table is positioned at one end of the room, directly in front of the door which opens onto one of the property’s private patios. The lounge area has comfortable seating, with a Netflix-enabled Smart TV, offering on-demand entertainment for all the family. The kitchen area, to the far end of the room, is separated from the lounge space by a breakfast bar dining area, beyond which guests will find an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, the first of which is a pretty double room which benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom is a light and airy twin room which has patio doors leading out to the property’s second patio area. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.

Outside the property boasts two separate patio areas. One of these is a small sheltered area, whilst the other is a larger space which extends to the seawall, and offers a stunning spot from which to sit back and relax to the sound of crashing waves and the calls of seagulls. (Children will need to be supervised at all times). There is a public car park just a few minutes’ walk from the property, for which the owners can provide a parking pass at an additional cost.

We were very pleased to have chosen this apartment. It is very convenient for the town (walking distance - a few hundred yards), but far enough away not to be bothered by noise. The facilities are all tidy, clean, modern and good quality. The agent was very helpful with texts and emails as we booked, before we arrived and when we got there.

We booked this lower ground apartment for the amazing views of the sea and surrounding cliffs, and were not disappointed, our own private patio area with table and chairs, two proper sized single beds for the children were great and very comfy. All the mode cons you need including washer /dryer and dishwasher

Modern cottage with great view and location. Parking a little inconvenient in nearby car park and at modest extra cost. But regardless of that I really liked this place and would book it again.

The view from our apartment was beautiful and the local people were so friendly. For people who are coeliacs it was good to find Adele's cafe who do great breakfasts and even have gluten free bread option so I could start the day with a good breakfast. You can also get gluten free pasties, scones and ice cream cornets

The apartment is a basement one and with this comes the patio area straight onto the sea front. It has a nice patio set for you to sit but beware if you eat as the seagulls flock down. There is a area straight out of the patio doors that is undercover though. It has a great location. Just head down the street and you are at the harbour. Shops, barsRead more, restaurants, etc are aplenty. It's not too far to walk into the shopping high street either. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Hide

Our apartment was beautiful, clean, modern and wonderfully kitted out. It was fabulous to sit at the table and look out at the changing colours of the sea. The patio edge was actually part of the sea wall, couldnt have a better view!
