This exceptional modern lower ground floor apartment, approached by steps, is arguably situated in the best location in Ilfracombe set right on the water's edge enjoying panoramic sea views.

Ilfracombe makes a perfect holiday base with its charming harbour, flower-strewn shopping streets, lazy pavement cafes and a wide selection of places to eat, including Damien Hirst’s harbour side bar and gourmet food restaurant which also displays his artwork. Close by is the Torrs Walk and South West Coast Path. A recent addition to Ilfracombe is Damien Hirst’s unique bronze sculpture "Verity" situated on the harbour, which is a must see. Only 10 minutes by car are the golden sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower and WC and 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with smart TV including Netflix, Freeview, bay window and door overlooking the rear courtyard enjoying fantastic uninterrupted sea views.The well-equipped kitchen comprises a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: patio with a sheltered seating area, a further larger patio reaching to the sea wall. Amenities: parking is a 2 minute walk and a car parking pass is available on request, payable on arrival. Bed linen, electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no pets. No smoking inside the apartment. Additional info: care must be taken with small children on patio near to the sea wall. Location: beach, shops, pubs and restaurants all walking distance. Arrival: 4pm.

Fantastic location definitely living up to the brochure photos. Very comfortable and clean, a perfect base for exploring North Devon. Only one note of caution - coming from ultra-flat East Anglia, wish we'd packed lighter for the walk up to the building from the car park and then the stairs down to the apartment! Nicely decorated with good facilities and in a good location for all of the sights and local attractions. Plenty of places to eat within a very short walk but check the reviews as some are better than others. Best to get a parking pass for one of the local car parks from the owner.

Beautiful. Gorgeous, a fabulous apartment, furnished to the highest degree. Parking wasn't a problem when we were there, but it was October, but I can imagine parking could be a problem in high season, and the road up to the apartment is quite steep. The only downside, the apartment does not get the sun, but the views are stunning.

What a wonderful apartment ! The location is excellant and central to everything. The views from the aprtment were amazing. Thanks to the owners and management of the property that truly catered for your every need and made the stay at Oceanside all the more pleasant. We would thorougly recommend this holiday to friends and would love to return. A great location with stunning views. Cottage was well equipped, very clean and perfect for our needs. Not being able to park outside may be a problem for some but the local car park was less than a 5min walk and not a issue for us (are able to park for 1 hour outside the property). A great apartment in a great location.

I highly recommend this beautifully maintained apartment which exceeded my expectations. The view alone was worth every penny. The sea really is only a few feet away. Open the double window or double doors on to the patio and listen to the tide coming in...then going out... heaven....

A very comfortable place in a fantastic location. You can walk everywhere from the apartment, and it was agree at base for visiting the area. The only thing I would say is that for 4 adults it's definitely cosy.
