This recently refurbished fisherman’s cottage is brimming with traditional charm, from original oak floorboards to exposed beams.

Located just 100-yards from Combe Martin Beach, this property is ideal for anyone looking for a slice of traditional coastal life. The village of Combe Martin is truly unspoilt and offers a 17th century inn, Post Office, bakery and a few small shops for collecting essentials for your stay. A short walk will bring you to the South West Coast Path, which offers walkers breath-taking ocean views at every step. Or hop in the car to reach the traditional Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe, where a wealth of shops, pubs, restaurants, amusement arcades and a cinema can be found. Other nearby attractions include Lynton and Lynmouth, Croyde, Exmoor National Park and Lee Abbey.

Arranged over three split-level floors, the property exudes traditional coastal charm with slate and oak flooring, exposed beams and sash windows. The kitchen is clean and contemporary and contains a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Once prepared, enjoy home-cooked meals in the dining room, which has slate flooring, a TV and feature fireplace. Here, you will also find a delicious cream tea on arrival to the property. At the end of a busy day, cosy up in the inviting lounge area beside the electric wood burner while watching the TV/DVD. On the first-floor you will find one king-size bedroom with oak flooring and sash windows and a twin bedroom, perfect for children or adults. The bathroom with separate shower and WC is also located on the first floor, while up on the second floor there is a further double bedroom and a cosy single bedroom. At the top of a flight of steps to the rear of the property is the enclosed lawn garden. Bordered by tall wooden fencing, this private space features a raised decked area at the end where there is garden furniture, ideal for al fresco meals in the sunshine. There is also 1 parking permit available for a car park located 100 yards away.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We had a lovely time at Olive House, stone throw away from the beach, loved the dog bowls a lovely touch and the chocolates on the pillows.. would definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful cottage just a stones throw from the sea. We had a lovely stay for a week in March, visiting nearby Woolacombe and taking walks up Great Hangman. We brought our dog who was welcome in local pubs, and especially well looked after in The Dolphin. Olive House has a very well-equipped kitchen, even down to kitchen scales, plastic picnic ware,Read more lovely dog bowls and cleaning products. You neednt being a thing from home! Had everything you could need - well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom comfortable seats, books and games AND cream tea! Great location around the corner from the beach and Combe Martin itself was lovely - people very welcoming.

This is a perfect property for families and a perfect location for exploring Devon. It has all the mod cons you could ask for on holiday, very well appointed. Great selection of books and games for those rainy days too. This is a real home from home.

We had a great holiday in Olive House,it has been nicely renovated and is in a good position in the village, the owner's were very helpful and also have a shop in the high street.

The property is very homely, spacious and spotless. The beach and all shops and amenities were of easy walking distance from the front door. Local chip shop and pub provide great food, so no need to cook.
