This light and airy cottage sits within the grounds of the owner’s impressive home accessed by a separate driveway overlooking the little white town of Bideford, the Torridge estuary and Tarka Trail.

Newly built in 2017 and offering a peaceful setting. A great spot for couples or families who enjoy walking, cycling, kayaking, bird watching or beach activities including surfing, or body boarding. For those looking to relax, the area is tranquil and the scenery is breath-taking. The Tarka Trail (traffic free) can be seen from the property and Bideford with a range of quayside shops, pubs, restaurants and pannier market is a short walk. Sandy beaches close by; Westward Ho! with 2 miles of golden sands, and beautiful Instow and Appledore are 10 minutes away. For kids, the Big Sheep and Ultimate Adventure Centre are within 2 miles. Why not visit RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal, or enjoy National Trust cliff-top walks.

Heading outside from the ground floor full width bi-fold doors lead out to a fully enclosed patio and lawn area with private hot tub enjoying views across the valley. Garden furniture, fire pit/BBQ/pizza oven. There is ample off road parking for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20 for up to 7 nights, £40 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20 for every week or part week thereafter.

Quiet and peaceful location. All amenities available, hot tub especially welcoming. Easy access to coastal resorts if desired. Information folder useful for local facilities and eateries as well as for emergencies if needed. Great for quiet family holidays.

Otters Leap is a fantastic property and the owners are on site, very friendly and helpful with some lovely personal touches. A short walk into Bideford or a little drive to the fantastic beaches and coastline.

Really lovely, thoughtfully equipped cottage with an amazing hot tub. Appreciated the welcome pack of fizz and dog treats! Owners non-intrusive yet on hand if needed. Cottage ideally located for places such as Clovelly, Instow (really great beach for dog walking). Would thoroughly recommend.

Very comfortable accommodation, clean and well equipped. The accommodation was tastefully furnished and provided an ideal location for us. A wonderful place to stay, everycomfort has been provided. Comfy bed and sofa/ chairs, friendly owners and fab hot tub. Peaceful location, but near lovely walks and convenient for the town. We had a wonderful stay and will be going back again.
