Great cottage in a very quite area. Loved our stay & the cottage was central to all the areas we wanted to see

A beautiful, if remote cottage close to Bideford. A great base for exploring North Devon. A very welcoming, clean and comfortable cottage with views of the rolling countryside. Do NOT use Sat Nav to reach the cottage, follow the directions that are given to you by the holiday company as they take you directly to the cottage. I would highly recommenRead mored this property. We were quite happy with the equipment at the cottage. It is just shame the roads to it are very narrow. The area around north Devon is agricultural so it is to be expected. It didn't spoil our holiday in anyway. You just need to be aware.

cottage was very comfortable and quiet. The only drawback is the final 1 mile or so down the very narrow lane with many blind corners and few passing places.

Quiet, restful and comfortable. Off the beaten track - perfect if you want to get away from it all.

We had a great time at Patchwork Cottage,Mrs Smith was lovely, and there was a nice welcome of a cream tea milk and teabags etc.The scenery was lovely and it was really nice and peaceful-just what we were looking for.Only slight drawback is the access lanes to the cottage are very narrow, tight and twisty in places

Lovely peaceful very rural location on a working farm but we were not disturbed by the farm work. Nice little cottage which was well equipped with household items. Tiled flooring throughout which was good for our dog. Two dog bowls and dog towel were at the property for our use and the welcome scones and dog biscuit were a lovely touch.

Quite a rural setting but central to travel to the various places. The cottage is lovely and has plenty of character. Would recommend this as a base for others.
