We were very impressed with the lodge and all its amenities. Very high spec finish throughout and the garden is well secluded and peaceful. A bit of a walk uphill from beach to lodge however so you would need a taxi if you struggle walking. Hopefully we can return in the height of summer to explore all that westward ho has to offer!

The staff were very friendly, polite and very welcoming. The food in the pub was absolutely amazing.

When you arrive the helpful staff at the Pig on the Hill (excellent food as well) make you feel welcome. You then get to the Pot Belly Cottage, which is as awesomely quirky as the photos make out. Comfortable, clean and the awesome hot tub (a great place to chill after walking) make it a great base for exploring and walking

We used our holiday in the cottage as our honeymoon was hot tub was amazing and all the little extra touches like tea coffee milk biscuits in cottage already for us. The lovely lady who showed us to our cottage gave us some wine but as I'm pregnant was changed to soft drinks very nice touch and thoughtful.
