Seafront property with stunning views, situated in the attractive seaside town of Ilfracombe on the North Devon coast, within walking distance of the town’s amenities, including the beach and harbour.

The seaside town of Ilfracombe is an attractive town with a bustling harbour which is watched over by artist Damien Hirst’s impressive twenty-metre high sculpture of Verity, a warrior woman standing with her sword aloft. A number of boat trips run from the town’s harbour, including fishing trips, gentle sightseeing trips, and a thrilling RIB ride. The town has a beautiful beach with a tidal pool, which is accessed via an interesting network of hand-carved tunnels, but there are also many other beaches within a short drive of the property, including the popular sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde, and Saunton Sands. Other popular attractions in the area include Exmoor National Park, Combe Martin Wildlife Park, and Watermouth Castle, which are all less than seven miles away.

This apartment offers stunning sea views from several of its rooms, including from the attractive lounge-diner with its picture window offering uninterrupted panoramic views. The dining table is positioned directly in front of the window, whilst there is also comfortable seating and TV/DVD. The kitchen, though modest in size, is well-equipped with an oven, hob, two fridges (each with ice compartment), microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The apartment has two bedrooms, the first of which is a double room which has a bay window with a window seat from which guests can look out to sea, and also benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom is a bunk bedroom which features a triple bunk, with a small double bed on the bottom and a 3’ single bed on top. The bathroom has a bath and WC.

Patio doors from the lounge/diner bring guests out onto the property’s beautiful balcony which has a table and chairs from which to enjoy the breath-taking views of the sea below. There is parking provided for one car.

An excellent location ,clean and well equiped. The stairs could be a problem for older clients. We will very likely book the property in the future,

This is an extremely comfortable accomodation in a quiet, picturesque location. Loved it!! Now feel totally rested with batteries recharged. Well worth the 6 hour journey!

Wonderful location right in the centre of everything we needed, only a short walk to harbour, pubs, and great varied eateries. Stairs to the apartment would be challenging for less able bodied people or young children but once inside you will not be disappointed the views are spectacular, which was the main reason we booked Rockcliff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat was very well appointed, with a fantastic outlook over the sea cliff. We also loved the jigsaw puzzles. Our only minor criticism is the cleanliness of some of the kitchen utensils - dirty dinner plates and fry pans, and the oven was filthy with the baking dishes actually sitting in puddles of oil.

We loved the appartement! The view is stunning and unforgetable. You are right in the middle of town in a fiew steps, but the appartement is quite and a wonderful retreat. Everything was spotlessly clean. We could have stayed much longer.

This is a fantastic location and we couldn't find any fault with the accommodation. We have two young teenagers and the bedrooms and accommodation was easily large enough for the whole family. Parking is next to the property, and you are a stroll away from the harbour and town centre. There are plenty of DVD's etc for the kids if the weather isn't Read moregreat. If you enjoy your walking its a good base for long coastal walks and there are some great beaches within a 10 minute drive. ten out of ten ! Hide

This is the second time we have rented this apartment. It is spotless and comfortable. The view is awesome. Everything is in easy walking distance. We got to know a few of the locals this time round and they are so helpful and friendly. We will certainly be going back. This was our fifth holiday with Holiday Cottages.

This property is generally well maintained and is in an excellent central location with magnificent sea views. The reserved parking space is invaluable as finding a space anywhere else in town is almost impossible. This was our second visit and we would not hesitate to book again.

The views from the apartment were terrific - full length glass windows and a balcony gave uninterrupted views. The flat was quiet too. And very close to the excellent Black Sands restaurant. Ilfracombe was disappointing but close proximity to Exmoor was a real bonus. We loved exploring the coast. Beer village was just wonderful as were the subTropiRead morecal gardens at Chesil beach. The cleaner (Mel) was in the property when we arrived - she was a mine of invaluable information - thank you Hide
