Stylish barn conversion property situated in the Devonshire countryside, just five miles from the coast on the stunning Hartland Peninsula, and a short drive to Westward Ho!’s two-mile wide beach.

This property is situated in a rural location, on the edge of the pretty village of Woolsery, where visitors will find a convenient fish and chip shop, perfect if guests don’t fancy cooking after a long drive. To the north of the property is the picturesque heritage village of Clovelly, a privately-owned village which has been lovingly maintained to provide an interesting look at Devonshire life in times gone by, with a number of craft workshops, a museum, pretty fishermen’s cottage, a working fishing quay, and a small beach. A little way around the coast brings visitors to the stunning Hartland Peninsula where Hartland Quay provides breath-taking views and is an access point onto the South West Coast Path. Other attractions in the area include The Milky Way Adventure Park, the harbour town of Bideford, and the expansive beach at Westward Ho!

The front door of this handsome barn conversion property opens directly into the spacious lounge/diner, where comfortable seating is clustered around the TV and DVD, where there is also a Playstation games console with a selection of games. At the other side of the room, the dining area has a dining table which comfortably seats six, providing a great space for enjoying family meals. The kitchen is an equally spacious room, and offers a second dining space in the form of a small breakfast table, as well as an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Upstairs, there are three relaxing bedrooms: a generously sized master bedroom with a double bed, en-suite shower, and WC; an additional double room which enjoys views over the surrounding countryside; and a twin room which benefits from its own TV. The property’s bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio area, where the owners have provided garden furniture and a BBQ for guests’ enjoyment. There is ample parking available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Cottage was fabulous, lovely spacious room and large enclosed back garden with plenty of room for our 3 cars and still lots of space to play balls games with my dog. Will be thinking about booking again next year

The cottage location was quite remote which we felt was a benefit. It was very spacious & comfortable inside with a pleasant garden and ample parking. We took our Springer Spaniel and there were plenty of places to walk him nearby. The cupboard full of games supplied were very welcome as were the draw full of leaflets of local attractions. A very eRead morenjoyable stay would go back again Hide

We were a party of 4 adults 2 Children and 2 dogs the setting was brilliant for us. There was everything we required in the Barn. Well placed for getting to various other places, we enjoyed the beaches of Instow and Bude. Also if feeling very fit the walk down to Covelly Village
