This property is situated on the edge of the popular seaside town of Westward Ho! in North Devon, which has an impressive two mile wide expanse of sandy beach, with its own surf academy offering lessons and surf board hire. There are a number of handy shops in the town, as well as a choice of cafes which are a great place to refuel and escape the midday sun on the beach. There are two bedrooms in the cabin, one of which is a restful double room with bi-fold doors opening onto the decked terrace, the other being a twin room, which can be made up as a double on request thanks to the zip-and-link beds. The contemporary shower room has a stylish shower and WC.

Outside, the property benefits from a decked terrace with countryside views, where guests can enjoy the relaxing sunken hot tub, or fire up the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco meal at the table and chairs. Guests can also make use of the pub’s grounds which provide plenty of space for younger guests to play, and are even home to some friendly farm animals! Of course, guests will not want to miss out on the chance to sample the fabulous food in the pub, although please be aware that advance booking is essential. Guests to the pub will also find a range of pub games, including a traditional skittle alley, and a boules piste. There is parking for one car.

Perfect for four people, loved all the little touches, like biscuits/ fruit and wine, filled tea and sugar canisters, fairy etc. Very clean and tidy, didnt have a freezer so dont buy any frozen goods beforehand!

Location wise ideal if you like walking/trekking & it being nice & quiet during the night except when the pub is open. If you like being in the countryside then this lodge is ideal especially next to a pud that does decent food.
