This duplex apartment sits within a much sought after  development, within the heart of the traditional Victorian seaside destination of Westward Ho!

Sitting just off the sea wall, means that waves are lapping metres from your private balcony where you can enjoy the 2 miles of blue flag golden sandy beach with its unique pebble ridge. A stone's throw from the village amenities including, pubs, shops and restaurants as well as a number of amusement arcades to entertain children of all ages. Westward Ho! also benefits from England's oldest golf club, Royal North Devon, that stretches out on to the Northam Burrows Country Park, protected from the sea by the pebble ridge, and offers some of the finest walks through the dunes and along the shoreline. The fishing village of Appledore is a short drive, and retains much of its original charm with its narrow winding streets and wealth of intimate restaurants and pubs. Attractions in the area include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Clovelly to name but a few.

The accommodation is split over the third and fourth (top) floors and offers TWO bedrooms: both spacious, the third floor comprises 1 master double with en-suite shower room and WC, and 1 large twin bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: located on the fourth floor with high ceilings and the sea facing wall being one large window over the dramatic panoramic beach and sea views. Well-equipped with flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen area, with integrated oven and halogen hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: is a spacious private balcony with garden furniture. Amenities: off-road secure underground parking with lift to third floor. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Really lovely apartment and lovely location too. You have everything you need - great view, lovely huge beach, shops, restaurants - right on your doorstep so if you don't want to explore you can happily stay there and have a nice break. Alternatively of course some great places around to visit too.

Amazing views from the living room and balcony. It's in a good position for exploring the area, a great choice of places to eat and drink as well as good, independent shops including bakeries and a lovely charity shop. No wifi in the apartment but a few of the cafes/pubs have free access.

This was our second visit to Serendipity and just as brilliant as first . Great location, never tire of the view from the balcony and our kids had an absolute blast for the week (aged 2 & 3) . Hopefully we will be back for a third time !

The views were outstanding. Having an allocated car parking space and not having to take the car out to go to the beach was ideal. Sue was a very friendly cleaner.
