Situated in a quiet and peaceful setting  within 150 acres with picturesque views across open fields towards Holsworthy. With a fully-fenced fishing lake, there is an extremely attractive and abundant mixture of flora and fauna around the many fields which are well worth a stroll.

The nearby cattle market town of Holsworthy offers a sports centre where you can enjoy a swim in the indoor heated pool, visit the weekly cattle and pannier market or enjoy the Holsworthy cycle route, a game of golf, go fishing, riding or just take a leisurely country stroll. The dramatic north Cornish coastline, surfing beaches and seaside attractions at Bude are a short drive and the rugged scenery of Dartmoor, Exmoor or Bodmin Moor are within easy distance. There are numerous tourist attractions in the area such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, The Tamar Otter Park, King Arthur's Tintagel and National Trust properties are a selection.

The upside-down style accommodation retains much of its original charm and character, with exposed beams to the upper floor areas and offers THREE bedrooms: downstairs, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. Bathroom: with separate shower and WC. Lounge: on the first floor with electric fire, TV, Freeview and DVD. Kitchen/diner: upstairs, well-equipped L-shaped room with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer available, fridge/freezer and radio. Outside: enclosed garden and patio with BBQ. 

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We got to our cottage late, we'd phoned ahead to tell our hosts and they had instantly put our minds at ease. The cottage was warm friendly well equipment and spacious. In fact our house is smaller. It's set in a beautiful location and could easily be a place to retreat to and not play with the out side world. Warm & friendly welcome, excellent accommodation, great location close to shops but far enough to be quiet, very clean and tidy, everything you need is there. Would highly recommend to a friend.

We felt welcome, Mr and Mrs Piper were friendly, they gave advice about the best places to eat etc when asked. They were happy for us to enjoy their lake area and we had fun playing table tennis and pool. We took our dogs with us and walked them around the fields. Lovely comfortable cottage, beautiful scenery. Peaceful and serene. In the village is a very good fish and chip shop which also sells very reasonable filled rolls and cakes. You can also order the day before to take on your days out. Very friendly people. Had a lovely holiday there . Would recommend.

very pleasant property. Rooms large, bright, clean and well furnished. Quiet country location but close to town amenities. Would certainly visit again.
